Last weekend we ventured out for our first touristy thing we've done since we've been here. And we've been here almost 10 months now! Neither of us were too eager to hit downtown DC first, since we've both 'been there, done that' when we were little. But one thing neither of us remembered visiting was Mt Vernon, George Washington's home.

The estate! Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take any pics inside the house. And it was soooo cold outside that I barely took any pics outside either. I didn't want to take my gloves off to use the camera!

It's taken me a while, but I'm finally getting around to updating this with Christmas pics! We headed to Pittsburgh first to spend a few days before Christmas with Matt's family.

There was still plenty of snow so we were able to take our nephews sledding on Christmas eve. Jake sat down on this sled and proceeded to yell "make it go!!!" lol.

And then we headed over to Hanover to spend a few days with my family. Willow still hasn't outgrown her car sickness. See all her drool?! yuck!
