Rachel's wedding

We flew to Tampa this weekend for a friend's wedding. We took a red eye out Wednesday night so that we could spend a few extra days there, and I'm glad we did. It was such a nice "mini-vacation".

This was the view of the pool from our hotel room. We were able to spend a few afternoons laying out. I was worried because the weather report said scattered thunderstorms every day, but it turned out to be gorgeous! We didn't have a single drop of rain the entire time we were there.

Matt was so happy to have Yuengling again! For those not from Pennsylvania - there is a Yuengling brewery in PA, and it's America's oldest brewery. Yuengling doesn't distribute outside of PA, and so we can only get it when we go back home. Until this weekend....when we found out that they have a second brewery....in Florida! Woo-hoo for yummy lager!

The "high school friends" table at the rehersal dinner....just don't look too closely at my dress, it makes me look preggo. lol.

My computer cord arrived, woo-hoo! I was finally able to upload my pics from the last week. Here are a few....

Willow in her pointing stance (probably watching a bird or cat across the street)

Matt's new dumbbells! (His early birthday present) They're actually really neat....instead of having a bunch of different weights, it's just the two, and you adjust them to whatever amount you want them, from like 2 - 50 lbs. Saves a ton of space.

*Somehow* she got ahold of a cantelope rind. I think she knew she wasn't supposed to have it though because she just held it there in her mouth and looked at Matt and I, and never tried to actually chew it.

Willow and Max, with our neighbor dog Molly in the middle. Molly comes over and plays a lot, and the three dogs are a riot together. Willow likes to think of herself as the alpha dog, so I don't know that she particularly likes having another female around, but Max loves it! He and Molly snuggled noses all evening.

Computer Woes

The power cord on my laptop recently decided to stop working. LUCKILY it wasn't anything to do with my laptop, and the computer itself still works, I just can't turn it on! I have another power cord ordered and hopefully it will arrive within the next week. This is the second time I've had to replace the cord in the 3 years I've had the computer. Stupid Compaq. Of course I'm sure it doesn't help that I forever leave my computer on and plugged in. Oh well. And considering my laptop is where I upload all my pictures to, I haven't had the opportunity to add new pics. I could upload them to the desktop if I really needed them, but I'm stubborn in my ways. :-P So, whenever that cord arrives, I will add new pics! There really hasn't been anything too exciting to post on though. Matt and I finally caved in and bought a Wii, and I am now officially obsessed. Let's just say that I can be a bit competitive, and since Matt usually beats me at everything, I am determined to continue to play until I finally beat him. And this past week I was in St Louis for work. It was rainy the whole time (remnants of Gustav) and I loved it! It sounds crazy but it's nice to have a change from constant sunshine once in a while. It reminds me of the other world that exists outside of the L.A. bubble. :-P Anyway, I'm off to run some errands, hope everyone's doing well!
