Another busy Saturday

We took a nice leisurely drive around Palos Verdes today and we stopped at a few places that Matt and I had actually never stopped at.
This is Point Vicente, it's a working lighthouse, so unfortunately they had it gated and we couldn't get much closer. We also stopped at Wayfarer's Chapel. It is in a beautiful location on top the hill overlooking the ocean. Apparently it's a popular wedding spot, and on this particular Saturday they were having 6 weddings! When we first got there we had to wait for a wedding party to finish their pictures before we could check the place out. Then by the time we were leaving, the next wedding party was rolling in. I can see why it's such a popular spot though! The church was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright's son, whose name was Lloyd Wright.
It looked really neat how it was nestled in with the trees.
Next stop was the Trump golf course. We pulled in and I think my jaw dropped. It looked like we were at a Lamborghini dealer! We counted 23 of them just sitting out in front. That's about $6 million dollars just hanging out in the parking lot. I asked some guy what was going on and he said it was just a group of friends from OC that all owned Lamborghini's that met there for lunch and then were going to go for a drive. HA! What a life.

Last stop along the PV drive was the Point Fermin. There was a house with the lighthouse on top, but it's no longer active.
And finally, the Queen Mary. Matt and I have toured the ship before but it was neat to show it off to his parents and watch them explore around.

Looks like you guys had a blast! By the way, did you know that you can rent the house across from the Point Fermin lighthouse for a weekend/week? We rented it for a weekend once for a going away party... it was a ton of fun!
